The Beginning
It is all started with a concern for traditional Indonesian foods that are getting rid of the times, especially for the younger generations.
Therefore, we see an opportunity regarding the prospect of the traditional Indonesian food being marketed throughout whole Indonesia and the world.
We hope the consumers will appreciate the creation and heritage from our ancestors while enjoying our products.
Semprong (Coconut Rolls) or also know as Kue
Rokok in the province Riau Islands. There are also other names, such as: Asian Egg Roll, Kue Sapit, Kue Kapit, or Love Letters. Whatever it know as, this snack has definitely become one of the traditional foods in Indonesia.
The Coconut Rolls are belived that have been
brought from the Netherlands to Indonesia during the colonial era, whereby the taste was later modified based on the availability of some ingredients that native to Indonesia, such as Cinnamon, Coconut milk and Black Sesame.
